The Opal Kelly XEM3050 is a new integration module based on a 4,000,000-gate Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA. In addition to a high gate-count FPGA, the XEM3050 utilizes the high transfer rate of USB 2.0 for configuration downloads, enabling an almost instant reprogramming of the FPGA.


XEM6010 Spartan-6 Version – Available Now!

Available now, our new XEM6010 is the Spartan-6 evolution of our incredibly popular XEM3010 and XEM3050 devices. For new designs, the new XEM6010-LX150 is recommended. For many older designs, the XEM6010 will drop in with minimal effort. Please see the XEM6010 User’s Manual for more details on compatibility with the XEM3050.

SYNCHRONOUS SRAM - SSRAM for FPGA Integration Modules
9 MiB SSRAM

A high-performance 9 MiB (512k x 18) synchronous SRAM enables volatile storage that can persist between FPGA configurations.

8 Mb SPI SERIAL FLASH

An 8-Mbit SPI Serial Flash device is included for non-volatile storage. A separate Xilinx Platform Flash is available for FPGA configuration data.
