Product Compliance and Trade Information

Opal Kelly is ISO 9001:2015 certified, representing our commitment to delivering quality products to our customers. For a copy of our certificate, please contact sales@opalkelly.com.

CE marking is required for finished products to be sold into the EU marketplace. Our integration modules are semi-finished goods and do not bear the CE marking.

The RoHS 2 (Directive 2011/65/EU) restricts the use of certain hazardous substance in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). Opal Kelly provides a separate RoHS Certificate of Compliance that covers our products. For more information, please contact us at sales@opalkelly.com.

REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use. Opal Kelly is working with our suppliers to gather all information regarding REACH compliance. At this time, information for every component is not available. Opal Kelly is not presently aware of any component that violates REACH or the respective SVHC list of June 20, 2013.

Opal Kelly integration modules are not designed or marketed to be ready for operation by the end user. The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive (2002/96/EC) is applicable to finished goods and is not applicable to Opal Kelly integration modules or components.

Opal Kelly is committed to conflict-free sourcing of 3TG minerals (tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold). At the present time, we are not aware of any conflict minerals in our products sourced from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. At this time, information for every component is not available. We continue to work with our suppliers to understand material sources and improve supply chain intelligence in this area.

We do not provide individual product CofC for our off-the-shelf devices. CofC are available for specified (i.e. custom designed) products if requested prior to quoting the project. Test certificates are shipped with all FPGA integration modules as shown below.
